NCLT Allahabad Admits HUDCO Insolvency Petition

We are delighted to share that Kumar Legal Research LLP represented Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) before the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Allahabad Bench, in insolvency proceedings against a corporate guarantor. 

The primary defence raised pertained to alleged cancellation of the corporate guarantee which came to be rightly rejected by the Hon’ble Tribunal and held that the debt and default stood duly established and the petition was within limitation, leading to admission of the petition.
