ITAT Mumbai Quashes Reassessment for AY 2009–10, Upholds Our Stand on Facts and Jurisdiction

We are elated to share that the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Mumbai, has ruled in our favor in the appeal concerning the reopening of the assessment for AY 2009-10 under Section 147 of the Income Tax Act.

Our challenge to the reopening and reassessment, which were founded on false presumptions and a dearth of relevant evidence, was recognized by the Tribunal.

The Hon'ble Tribunal rejected the reassessment order after considering the facts and our submissions, firmly reaffirming our position on factual and jurisdictional matters.
